Busy. Busy. Busy.

I’m very busy with work right now. I’ve got at least a 3 week backlog of e-mails to get to. So if you’re waiting for a response from me, I’m sorry I haven’t gotten to you yet but I plan on catching up this week.

Just a public thanks for the layouts you provide. Thanks.

Hey! Hes not the only one wanting to give a public thanks, so do I! Your work is breathtaking and just plain sick and gruesome! How you get CSS to do such crazy things to look so damn good across all the following browsers (I’ve tested in) Mozilla, Mozilla Firefox, IE6, NS7, NS6, NS4 and Opera says it all. Mad props on your impeccable CSS skills!

You did a fantastic job – and give it to the world for free – that’s not so common today :-(
    Regards from Slovenia!

I’m having fun trying to hack your gargoyles skidoo for a new drupal based site I’m creating.

My head hurts, but I love the look and feel of the columns, and my ‘layout creating’ skills don’t match my graphic making skills, unfortunately. I’m going to have a play with some intergrating of small graphics to enhance the look somewhat.

Me too. Thanks again for your excellent css layout. Take care.

Quick question: How do you handle the maintenance of navigation columns across multiple pages? Surely not modifying each page! XHTML doesn’t have an includepage tag does it?

  7. Javi says

Nah unfortunately XHTML does not. It was meant to only be for display. Its not a dynamic language per say. For example stuff like ColdFusion and PHP can help you with that as they both offer a simple include tag. If you only have a host with html support and not a specific web server application just frames or iframes. I used those all the time so that way I never had to repeat my navigation and other code on the same page.

Used Ruthsarian CSS in the past and it worked great. Thanks.
I’m stuck on yet another quest: use CSS to display true tabular data (4 column 200+ rows) side-by-side on multiple printed pages. Any suggestions?
Is there such a thing as a column-break? I can use THEAD to get IE to repeat headers on each page, but I want 2 sets of 4 columns on each page with headers repeated at the top of each set; like American phone-book style printing.

Awesome work Ruthsarian! These CSS templates are just amazing.
